Trend of Sunglasses for Every Face Shape

Let’s talk about the nuances (and trends of sunglasses) ! It’s an often overlooked accessory, but it’s one of the most practical-especially for spring and summer. Because they frame the face and eyes, choosing the ‘right’ for the shape of the face is a daunting task (I know! I am so picky when it comes to sunglasses) and also due to the fact that it is difficult to know which sunglasses best fit your face shape. However, if you are one of the lucky ones who found the perfect pair of shades, then this is a lifelong relationship (since the shape of your face does not change much).

The types of faces that everyone knows are: square, oval, heart, triangular and round. However, did you know that no one has a perfect form of any of these elements? Our faces are made up of a combination of many elements – so remember that choosing the “right” pair for your face shape is just a guideline and not a rule!

Once you have found the shape that suits you, they will continue to look for you (I have some favorites like my aviator tinted glasses that I wear every summer! In addition, sunglasses, like clothes, go through their own trends as they develop in the visions of designers. This season I choose the best sunglasses trends for every type of face! Because if we want to cast shadows, at least do it with style, right?

Rectangular Sunglasses

Rectangular sunglasses are appearing more and more frequently on our social media from day to day. Depending on the color of the frame (usually acetate), they can be original and funny or refined and casual.

Ideal for (but! not exclusive to round and oval face shapes, I think it would be perfect for those who love a little nostalgia of the 90s.

Since it is one of the most casual forms of sunglasses, it would be really well combined with a simple white T-shirt and tight-fitting jeans.

Trendy Square Cat Eyes Sunglasses

Our classic and recognizable cat eye sunglasses have been reinterpreted by designers. It has lost its retro aura and is being replaced by something more dynamic. Say hello to the square cat’s eye!

Admittedly, reinventing the shape of the cat’s eye is very brave, but seeing the results does not drive us crazy!

Slightly more assertive than the classic shape, these sunglasses are perfect for oval and round faces.

Tinted aviators

Tinted aviators! A trend that I can follow, since I already own a couple of pairs! I love her retro and classic aura. The warm yellow/golden hue enlivens my face and frames my eyes perfectly! I really like tinted shades, because you can play with the color on your face. The best part is that you can wear them in relaxed environments compared to black sunglasses that scream “I’M WEARING SUNGLASSES”! – Tinted aviators are ideal if you want to wear sunglasses but don’t want it to be so obvious.

Wear your favorite outfits with these and you are guaranteed to feel like the most fashionable person in any radius of 10 km. Tinted aviators are really the icing on the cake! Link similar fliers of my favorite yellow tinted fliers here!

They say that aviator shapes are best for oval and heart-shaped faces. But why not try them anyway (they come in a range of sizes and styles) – besides, they are a classic!

Oversized shades

For people who lean towards a square face, you will love this trend of sunglasses spring/summer 2021 – Oversized ones!! The bigger, the better! Completely inspired by the 70s, the oversize sunglasses have established themselves on the best slopes and street styles. I really feel like a vogue magazine from the 70s when I see them. These sunglasses are definitely more on the statement side, but you can also soften it by adjusting the thickness and color of the frame. For a more casual look, why not try the transparent frames? Well done, I can’t imagine a more chic sunglasses look!

Half-moon Sunglasses (D-Shaped) Trendy

With their background in the sports industry, D-shaped sunglasses are coming to our radar. They go hand in hand with sports-inspired looks (especially tennis) on the podium this season (think of Céline).

These sunglasses can suit you, especially if you like aviator colors. You are definitely on the cooler side and exude this modern atmosphere of the 21st century.

D-shaped sunglasses are actually suitable for a variety of face shapes, such as triangular, heart-shaped, round, and oval faces. So do not rush to exclude them for the time being!

I love these D-shaped shades with the fine silver frames – this metallic highlighting and this shape are so elegant-would you add to the list of items that enhance an entire outfit by one simple component?
